An easy tomato puree to fix.
Simmer all ingredients until soft. Press through a sieve, season with salt and pepper. Fill jars to within 1/2 inch of top. Put on cap, screw band firmly tight. Process in boiling water bath for 45 minutes.
Yield: 6 pints
